TMCB DEPOSIT

SAILENT FEATURES: This deposit is designed for those persons who desire to avail a maturity value facilitating them to fulfill their aspirations of buying a plot/flat/house/ marriage of daughter/ foreign education of son/daughter or for other investments.

WHO CAN DEPOSIT: As permitted under fixed deposit scheme

AMOUNT ACCEPTED Minimum Rs.1000/ and in multiples of Rs.100/-. No maximum limit

PERIOD: Minimum period 12 months and further periods in multiples of three months

and maximum period 10 years (120 months)

RATE OF INTEREST: As applicable to fixed deposits and compounded at quarterly rests.

PRE-CLOSURE FACILITY:

• Pre-closure of deposit is permitted. Interest is paid at the rate applicable for the period for which the deposit remained with the bank less 1 % compounded quarterly.

• No penal charges for pre-closure where deposits are held by senior citizens and minors.

• Loan facility: Up to 90% of the principal amount with rate of interest at 2% p.a. over the rate of interest payable on the deposit.
